2nd GPU not working ?! Tweet

I have 2 GPUs on my computer (GTX 1080) and it seems like just one of them is running actually.

The 2nd GPU is always at 0% of use when I did a render.

Any ideas?

Ps: I use Windows 10

i have the same two cards and had the vague impression that the cards were not used to their full potential.
maybe i am wrong though.

how did you test the gpu load?

the way i understand it, one card is used for the viewport duties and one for rendering.
exporting to standalone actually frees both cards for rendering.

i hope someone can correct me if im wrong.

Hi,
check the GPU load in Live View info bar, while rendering.
You can also use GPU-Z for monitoring the GPU sensors while rendering:
