Hy Guys

I'm having a problem when I apply normal map to micros details combined with displace map.

One part is reversed, and the displace does not work, it looks like it cleans the object.

I have tested if it is the normal of the faces, but everything is correct.

I hope you can help me

regards

Hi,
In general, this kind of issues is related to flipped uvs.
OctaneRender™ displacement is different from classic displacement, and is designed to have both major and micro detailed displacement in one go.
One limitation is that it needs proper ufolded uvs without overlappings.
Do you mind to share a screenshot of the uvs of the mesh?
Looking forward for your feedback,
ciao Beppe
