Material with Opacity turns model all black in editor view

Hello there,

I modeled a head in C4D and set up the UVs. Next I made an Octane material for the base skin color and applied it to the entire head.

To make the eyebrows, I made a bitmap (in Photoshop) that was all black except for where the eyebrows should be (which were white or various shades of gray) to serve as a transparency/Opacity map. In a new Octane Material's node editor, I made a bitmap node, loaded the Opacity map and piped its output into the Opacity channel of the material. Then I set the Diffuse color of the material to black.

In the Octane Live Viewer, the material works properly. The black Diffuse color is masked out by the opacity map so that the eyebrows appear where they should. However, in the editor view, the entire head has turned black.

How can I see the properly see the eyebrows in the editor view?

Check "Alpha for Opengl previews" in settings/other. Note that's not working perfect and cause problems on viewport.
