Weird edge on displaced specular metarial?

This always happens, when I use a specular material on a plane and that plane intersects with another object. What is it called and is there any way to not get it? It gets better when I turn up the resolution of the displacement shader, but it's still there when using an 8k image. Attached is a small jpg, transmission of material purple to make it easier to see.

Maybe try changing the border mode in imagetexture (within displacement)?
