A way to "purge" node not assigned in materials?

As susject: there is a way to clean or purge materials that have inside node not assigned.

I have a lot of old materials (made in Octane 2.x) that seen in Node Editor have huge node (image textures, etc) not assigned, as you can see in this example:

purge_1.jpg

So first question is : could give problems: increasing time of render, memory occupation, etc?
Second question is there is a chance to purge all the materials in one step?

Thanks a lot.

Yes it was an issue on older versions of plugin. Because it was using embedded textures on first creation of materials. And this was causing to have junks. These junks will cause big performance losses while you're working or selecting the materials. But not for rendering calculations. You can use "select hierarchy" on material for selecting unconnected nodes but no ready way to remove all easily. It may require to write a script.
