Bounced light grainy

Could anyone recommend how I can reduce the grain in this light that's being reflected from the glossy wooden floor? The rest of my scene cleans up really nicely, but this light is still an issue. I was hoping adaptive sampling would help with this, but it doesn't seem to do much for this render.
I'm using PT at 2500 samples, 2 diffuse, no specular, Path term of .3, coherent ratio of .4, and adaptive sampling at .3 with min. 520 samples (2x2). The environment is a closed room and lit by large directional lights. The light reflected on the floor is an emissive textured light bulb.

Hi

Try increasing the emission material (light bulb) sampling rate around 10.000 or so. You can do that from the blackbody emission tab.
That way the light bulb light/reflexion will be calculated more than the rest of the lights.
Please let me know if that works.

That definitely helped! Thank you. Now i just need to optimize my scene to try and bring down the overall time to render per frame.

Hi dotcommer,
what about the GI Clamp value?
If you have not already reduced, try to start with 10, or go even lower 0, increasing the Gamma to correct the contrast.
In my opinion, 2500 samples is not so much for Adaptive sampling, you should start with a very high value and check in the Noise pass how and when the noise is solved, finding the correct max sampling for the scene.
Try with 0.05, 512, none, and the exact exposure value that you have in the Camera Imager node.
ciao beppe
