How's is this a solution ? I need the texture to appear as the object scales up but not squeezes out as you can see in the sample file. I have to use world space coordinates for this purpose. How can I achieve the same effect without using Texture Projection node ???

It's for this case. There's a problem as try to explain, see my words. Why don't use uvw scaling from texture tag?

have you tried doing it with a mix material rather than the opacity method?

Thanks niestudio,

I already tried that :( but it won't work for me. It would, but not preferable like there are other ways around this but all are longer routes. I'm so surprised why Opacity channel can't behave like any other channel. :(

Hi Aoktar, Sorry I didnt notice your message earlier. Now that I just noticed, but I still can't understand what you meant. Could you please please make a sample file for this to illustrate ?

Did you mean to counter UV scaling to give it a impression of revealing instead of squeezing out ? If so, I would say this is very impractical sadly. But if it's easy workflow for you, then it would be easy for all of us.

anyway, I am expecting to have opacity channel behave like diffuse or any other channel in future update if possible. Because this is the only way anyone would approach in any 3d packages I believe. Can I ask you why it's behaving correctly in plane and not in cube ?

I cannot help much on thosedays because of private works. But i adviced to don't use two ways scaling in this particular case(texture in opacity). It's propably a bug on plugin and i'll have to check it asap.

Thank you very much Aoktar !!! :)
I will try to do it other ways for now. Not a very big deal. But I very much appreciate that you will be looking into this issue :) This will be a ton of work saving for my future projects :) :)
