Hi everyone,

The Dispalcement update must unfortunately be delayed.
This new feature really slows down the setup for optimal use,
especially with the fresh release of the Octane Plugin for Cinema 4d.
I'll let you know when I'll have a solid solution for that.
Thank you for understanding.

I am sincerely sorry for this miss, and I hope that the future versions of PXL + DIRT
will be able to take full advantage of new engine functionalities such as Uber material, OSL, metalness etc ...

Meanwhile keep enjoying PXL + DIRT !!!

I just purchased so I sure hope this can get settled soon. Maybe shortly after 3.08 is finalized?

Hi,

there has been a lot of change on the mixMat since the version 3.07-r1, I had not foreseen them :o .
So I'll wait a bit, to find the best solution.

Thank you for your interest.

Hi, bought it yesterday, Awesome tool, very useful And I have only one point to give feedback if it is possible to implement and one observation.

-a custom slot for a custom mask for each of the different layers (specially the scratch one as it would be awesome to assign a custom scratch map to the body or the edges and no the same noise over and over)

-the displacement feature is really slow on my end but is no an issue at the end of the day It would be useful to have a choice to have it as a displacement or a bump (this is a long shot)

And finally congratulations for this tool as this simplifies the work on giving the materials that extra push to make them more appealing.

Does this version 2 support Selection Sets as well as 'objects'?

Hi,

I am aware that it is still the same pattern of noise that is used for the moment. I would like however that the setup remains the most parametric possible.
In another update, I will try to implement other choices for noise patterns ...

It is an expected behavior in some cases and I hope to be able to improve it in the future.

No, not yet, the main purpose of this update was the compatibility with version 3.08.
If, there is a next update, the setup will be totally revised to fit for the best the new material system (blendMat).
I really think that the selection set or vertex map will be there.

Thank you for the interest ;)

Hi all,
I need to use the uvtexture for my base material and a cubic map for the dirt material, is it possible ?

Thank you
