Phong Tag with Octane Render

I am new to octane, so this might be a stupid question. Is there a way to delete the phong tag while using Octane renderer in C4D? I keep trying and it keeps replacing it. Thanks for the help!

Thank you for responding, but I figured it out. Was not a problem was just me not thinking.
