Fog volume is grainy, regardless of settings Tweet

Hi all,
I've seen many posts on similar subjects, but I just can't get past this:
I'm using a fog volume in the attached image. Here's the info:
Vox Size - 3
Voxel mult.(render) - 8
Medium Density - 1
Volume Step Length - 8

Render settings:
PT
Max Samples - 8000

Seems to me like a Voxel size of 3, with such a high multiplier number should really return something of a higher resolution. Any thoughts? Should I upload the project file?

could you post a screenshot of your kernel settings?
