Blending Modes

I was just curious if there are any blending modes in the material editor currently in octane C4D?
I see Multiply and Mix but haven't seen anything else. Have "screen", "add" "hard light" etc are very very useful for material editing.

Alternatively, is there a way to pipe in a standard C4D material with a "layer" setup that has those blend within it?

If neither of the above is possible is there any plan to include blending modes in future versions?

Thanks,
R

Currently Octane has not blending. Also you can't use a Octane node under C4D's textures. Because it's converted to textures on cpu. Cpu cannot render octane textures. I'm not sure about plans, but octane team is improving the things as quick as possible. I want also to have this option with many others.

If we could have blending modes on "mix node", we would be able to generate a Custom Layer mode in Octane

Assumed we did nothing since 2014 so. Please follow forum discussions for OSL.

This is a hugely powerful function. I would love to see this functionality implemented!

Here is a scene file with a texture using Screen Blend Mode (replace the ImageTexture & RGB Spectrum nodes with your textures):
