End-Of-Rendering hang-up error in 081:
A computer was rendering a litte sequence. An hour later every frame was saved, Cinema ready to work. I looked at the render durance per frame Picture Viewer. Every frame was about some minutes, expect the last one. There stood: 1h38m. The frame itself was saved after some minutes like the other ones before.

So the hang-up possibly isn't really a crash. Sure, something went wrong, but in the end everything was ok again. Hope that helps a bit further with that.

i had render "bug" too in the middle of a sequence it got stuck while preparing next frame. but never finished preparing. it was with 0.81b i have noticed that it came from overclocking my titans...

achmet, is it possible with depth?

ok, i'll be busy with hangup problems this week. But need some help. I cannot reproduce on my test systems.
And I'll send PM to people who gets weird crashes when clicked on somewhere.

Hi Aoktar-

We've had this problem too. Usually doing a single frame render. It hangs after finishing the frame. Sometimes during animations as well on the last frame. It's perplexing. I wish it didn't happen.

Thoughs?

strange problem here...:

after i drag&drop the latest c4doctane folder in my C4D(13)-Plugin Folder, nothing from octane is visible inside C4D???!!!

any Ideas...?

Hey aoktar,

Thanks for the quick IES Fix. Unfortunately, 0.8.2 crashes while 'CREATE OCTANE INSTANCE FOR C4D INSTANCES---15' on a scene which renders perfectly on 0.7.2

So I guess IES lights stay unusable as it is.

I did a little bug hunting. The issue is a nested instance inside of a symmetry operator. Fair enough, not necessarily the cleanest/easiest setup. PM'd you the scenefile.

ok, but render instances has some limitations on plugin. i have no chamfer maker, but i put a cube this group and no crash. Don't use render instances if getting crashes
