Hi,
a friend send me this link today, wondering why it has not appeard in the forums, yet?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cGGrgG48K6s

looks like the integrated version uses C4D's native material system instead of Octane's own.
Any news on this?

And: Is there any scheduled release date so far?

It has, but it was a little bit hidden: viewtopic.php?p=113182#p113182 and http://www.facebook.com/pages/OTOY/8520586012

The plugin is not done by me, which is good, since I didn't have any time to start on it yet. And we don't have a timeframe when it will be ready, but the developer seems to work fairly quickly :)

Cheers,
Marcus

So, I suppose that I will have to buy an extra license for the C4D integrated plugin... Am I wrong? Even if I bought the octane standaolne license with c4d plugin... I mean... 1 year ago I understood that the c4d plugin were only a temporary connection bridge, exporter, beacuase there was no other solution at those time ...during a period meanwhile the Refractivesoftware team grow up.
Anyway, how much will cost the new license? 199€? No discount for existing customers?
Thank you in advance.
I'm sorry for my bad english, I hope someone can understand what I say. Bye.
