Random black spots/splodges on model in Octane

Hi,

I am getting black spots/ slodges on points of my model in Octane on Cinema 4D.

These patches are not visible if I render the object with Standard Cinema 4D render engine, just when I am in Octane.

The material applied is just the default diffuse shader from Octane.

It is not to do with clipping or scale or lighting or UV mapping.

I am hoping that someone has an easy solution to this issue.

Thanks
