It works by default but I find that sometimes I need to enable 'Resend all scene data' in the render settings. Otherwise, the animated noise that is plugged into the baked texture does not update.
I've also found that if I want use any 'multiplies', 'add', 'color-correction etc nodes in the HDRI environment that it also needs to go into a 'bake texture node'
It would be great if the 'bake texture' node could also have a 'save texture as' area? And even better if it could somehow be done for animated sequences?
