Cloner set to blend mode

Hi - please can someone help me with this basic scene file.

I have 2 hemispheres in a cloner set to Blend clone mode. I want to get Octane to alternate the colour of each clone so that it goes black, white, black, white etc...

I've played with the random colour mode and the MG colour shader but not getting much luck.

Thanks.

Hi,
the Random Color node is not the correct one in this case.
You need to use an Instance Range node sets to 1:

I have used an Octane Gradient node to change the colors, but if you ned Black and White colors only, you can pipe the Instance Range node directly in the Diffuse pin of the material.
