zdepth aov pass does not work

Hi, is the z-depth aov pass going to be fixed for c4d? It is very important and something I've requested for years within the live compositing features. I cannot get it to work at all as seen in Jules latest GTC2021 video. It shows up as a whited-out pass if I isolate the aov within the live viewer. If I change the max z-depth within the info channel kernel iteself it also has no affect on the aov pass. This happens on 2020.2.3-R4. I also do not see the weight parameter that Jules is sliding around in his demo to change the max depth. Why are things not consistent between releases? Is this function broken?

Thanks
-Steven

Nothing is broken, start with an AOV preset and select normalized-Z. Play with compositing parameters. I'm sure you'll find how to mix it.

Also, make sure you are using an appropriate file format, such as EXR(Octane).
