Hi,
first thing that comes to my mind is Sculptron:

Thanks bepe, I'll give that a look. Is there nothing else I can use inside C4D/Octane ?

Hi,
Sculptron is a very powerful tool, especially for creating animated vdb sequences, starting from a static vdb asset, but probably even too much for a simple vdb boolean operation.

Try these steps:
- merge the vdb asset in your scene:

- place it as a child of a Volume Builder object, and set the Volume Type to Fog.
- apply an Octane Object Tag, go to Particles tab, and create the Medium node, with your preferred settings.
- add any mesh as child of Volume Builder, and set the mode to Subtract.
- Done!

Happy VDB GPU rendering,
