Vertex Color hack scene

Hi

Found a little hack how I can get RGB vertex colors into octane

It's is using 3 UV sets, also scalar/vector ICE attributes (per node) can be transfered that way. Ideally they should be in 0..1 range.

Per vertex/polygon attributes have to be converted to per node first.

for SI 2015 SP2/Octane for Softimage 3.00 RC1 only, others I don't know

more testing, couldn't help it

There's a limit of 3 uv sets in octane so you'll not be able to use normal uvs with that method above.

Would need to pack vertex color RGBAs in 2 UV sets, one for RG and one for BA. One is left for uvs then.

Alpha channel can be used to blend with the normal texture like shown in scene file...

Second scene in project shows how to export ICE color to octane
