its a problem with the normals. if you turn smoothing off, you will see plane surfaces, but of course still no round shape (assuming that is what you want). you need to realign the normals. imo in general it is better to not triangulate objects if possible...
The obvious is that which is never seen until someone expresses it simply

The normals looks also incorrect on the wireframe. Have a look at the yellowish part.
You can use the Discontinuity slider under the Polygon Mesh tab in the Geometry Approximation PPG to change the angle to a value which looks good, normal 60°.
60° means, if a angle between two polygon normals are lesser as 60°, the edges are blended together, greater, the edges are hard.
Polygons are in this case triangles...
