Scene Orientation

Each time I export a scene to Octane, I notice that the camera rotate function does not behave as expected..
It is not a proper "orbit" function, and the result of a rotation makes me think that there is an issue with mess-up about the Y-axis adaptation between different 3D apps. I also noticed that this issue is not present when I import .obj files that were not created within SI and camera rotates correctly.

Of course all the above are not an issue for animations since the SI Camera is resent for each frame. But within Octane, proper camera framing is impossible for scenes sent from SI.

Is this all my idea?

That´s because the cameras up-vector is exported and different from the original Octane camera up-vector which is 0, 1, 0.
If you change the up-vector to 0, 1, 0, you can orbit like the default orbit.

I think I am missing something..

I just checked now and the default upvector for camera like shown in the pic.

What exactly should I change?

I mean the up-vector in Octane, not in SI ;)
