Hi guys,

I am mainly an octane for houdini user. But i am also learning the Maya plugin at the moment.
I would have 2 questions about the Maya plugin :

- is it possible to render nurbs curves directly without converting them to poly like in houdini by adding an octane curve attributes ?

- is it possible to render particles directly as an octane sphere primitive without having to instanciate a sphere with Maya instancer node ?

Thanks for your lights !
Cheers

It is not possible to render particle primitive directly with the Maya plugin , you have to use the instancer, and pay the vram price for that.

It is not possible to render curves primitives directly with the Maya plugin, you have to convert them to paint fx first.
