deformation motion blur ?

I'm trying to get some motion blur and it seems to work but not for my deforming ncached ncloth sim. I don't see any documentation that mentions any special steps to get this to work, is there something I'm missing?

On the latest production build of octane with maya 2017

You need to set the animator data of the cloth shape to force load (for some reason automatic doesn't work for cached geometry)

Also take care to peak the right shape : for ncloth, you want to set animator data for the second shape under the transform "outputCloth.." (the first shape is an intermediate object)

this seems to work except for with my meshes that use displacement. is this a known issue?

yes it is a limitation of Octane core.

Anyone know if this issue will ever be addressed?

Deformation motion-blur works with the new displacement in Octane 2019.1
