Hey, I was wondering if there is a way to render Bifrost Foam / Aero with Octane?

Hi TDZL and Joka232,

Unfortunately, Bifrost is still yet to be supported. Yes, it is in the high priority list to implement on our ticket system.

Cheers
Kind Regards

Hello TDZL,

Bifrost is one of the highest priority in our feature support ticket so our developer would be looking after a couple of major features.

cheers

Hello TDZL,

Unfortunately, we have not set a rough deadline yet.

Seems like we would be looking into it right after implementing two major features. If there is an update, we will keep on posting in this thread.

Cheers
Kind Regards

Any update on this or literally any way to have Octane render particles natively in maya without the annoying VDB thing?

Hi TDZL,

Unfortunately, it is taking a while for us to investigate the current major tickets plus bug fixings on top. To render Maya particles, please try using a poly geometry e.g; (a low poly sphere) then instance it with Particle instancer.
Would you please let us know the issue you are having working on VDB?

cheers
Kind Regards
