[Sovled] pixelated edges on alpha masks?

Did a setting change in one of the latest maya updates for how alpha maps are created (aliased edges vs non aliased)?

The attached file shows how my alpha masks are turning out lately. I don't know which version this started heppening but i'm currently on the newest one.

i used matID and Layer ID and you can see the pixelated edges on everything. Besides the jagged edges all the mask edges are a couple pixels too large, which makes me wonder if there's a new setting i'm not seeing to remove anti aliasing that is turned on by default.

Thanks for the help, this is really causing me issues on some tight deadline projects right now.

hi dude :)

It's kind of hard to tell just by looking at the image. The problem could be with texture itself or in render settings. Are you using ORM 3.06t4_-_10.18? Would you PM me the file so we can take a quick look? Cheers
Kind Regards

Yes, there is a new setting to disable filtering on info pass, but it is not enabled by default ...

Also, make sure the "disable partial alpha" option in imager, is disabled...

Just to be sure, as I said the " disable pixel filtering" is not enabled by default so it might not be your problem,

But your problem may be the "disable partial alpha" option,
this option should always be disabled but as JimStar named it with a wrong label for a while,
you might have enable by mistake.
