Hey guys,

Hope everyone had a great weekend :)
As you may know that we have implemented lots of features from Octane Standalone. The latest version is very close to being stable.
If you find any bugs on the OctaneRender for Maya 3.06 - 10.6[TEST], please feel free to report us.

## OctaneRender for Maya 3.06 - 10.0 [ TEST ]

Implemented support of 3.06t2 engine in Octane for Maya plugin.

# Octane Standalone 3.06t2 TEST improvements list :

Added option to select the coordinate space in the tri-planar mapping texture.
Changed how the docked windows are brought to front when Octane Standalone receives keyboard focus: The relative z-order stays the same, and the docks will not be raised above the main window.
Introduced menu items to focus on docks, and a window picker which is shown when pressing CTRL-TAB.
Improved noise estimate and fixed various bugs in adaptive sampling.
Trying to simplify the adaptive sampling options: Removed the pins "adaptive strength" and "group pixels". The strength is now always 100% and a 2x2 grid is being used internally. Let us know if absolutely need any of those parameters back (in which case we would need an example scene showing the problem).
Changed the defaults of the adaptive sampling parameters to some more conservative values ("noise threshold" is now 0.01 and "min samples" is now 512).
Fixed broken info channels when adaptive sampling is enabled (see viewtopic.php?p=304878#p304878 ).
Fixed missing tri-planar mapping node on OSX and Linux (see viewtopic.php?p=305105#p305105 ).
Fixed bug that caused resolution to update even when the render lock was disabled (see viewtopic.php?p=304630#p304630 ).
Fixed missing material and object layer pins when a plane node is connected with a material/object layer map node.
Fixed render failure when texture pins of a gradient node are unconnected (see viewtopic.php?p=305357#p305357 ).
Fixed render failure when a scene without a mesh but with an infinite plane is rendered.
Fixed crash in net render slave during shutdown.
Fixed crash bug in net render master that occurs when the interactive render region is changed.
Fixed crash in net render master when a slave fails and interactive region rendering is enabled (see viewtopic.php?p=304961#p304961 ).
Fixed crash in net render slave when the interactive render region is changed to a larger size than the largest film tile (see viewtopic.php?p=304961#p304961 ).
Fixed double extensions in the batch render script (see viewtopic.php?p=304613#p304613 ).
The batch render script now also disables any interactive render region.


## OctaneRender for Maya 3.06 - 10.1 [ TEST ]

New 3.06 TEST 3 engine integrated.
Implemented export of selected objects.
Implemented rendering engine's level multiple UV support. The active one plus additional two of Maya's multiple UVs are now loaded into Octane engine.
Minor fixes and improvements...

# Octane Standalone 3.06t3 TEST improvements list :

Added support for GP100 GPUs (compute capability 6.0).
Added back the pixel grouping option to the adaptive sampling settings, since it turned out to be quite useful to have in various cases.
Added new option expected exposure to the adaptive sampling settings. It is used to determine the brightness of a pixel and thus allows adaptive sampling to tweak the min. samples and noise estimate (see the new features thread for more details.
Changing noise threshold, min. adaptive samples and expected exposure or toggling the noise pass will not restart rendering anymore.
Improved tone mapping of noise pass.
Improved the distribution of adaptive sampling masks to net render slaves.
Small tweak: If a change in the render settings doesn't require a render restart (e.g. tonemap settings), integration on local and remote GPUs is not interrupted anymore.
Reduced the amount of data we store in the sample states, which saves about 100MB GPU memory for a parallel samples value of 16.
Added triplanar projection node to allow the triplanar texture map calculate the UVW coordinates for an input textures, which simplifies setting up triplanar texture mapping.
Added a blend cube transformation pin to the triplanar texture map to control the orientation of the "blend cube".
Fixed CUDA failure when a triplanar map texture is used in scenes with no instances or too many instances.
Fixed the random colour texture to work in media, too.
Fixed a CUDA failure that potentially could affect all scenes that contain scatter media.
Added dragging of .csv files into the node graph editor.
Switched from LuaJIT 5.1 to Lua 5.3 and integrated an external FFI module into Octane Lua.

Fixed a crash when exactly 2 UV sets were used with motion blur disabled.
