octanemixtexture and png

Hi!
How can I mix to textures with png file? I tried octane alpha image and octane image in amount of octanemixtexture and no sucess.

I'm not sure what you want to do exactly, is it using a greyscall png image as mask between 2 procedural texture to mix ?

or do you want to use the alpha in the png as a mask ?

or you want to mix 2 png ?

I want to use the alpha in png as mask in octanemixtexture amount.

well, that's it,
you just have to use an "alpha image texture" node, load the png in it, then plug the "out tex" in the "amount" of the "mix texture" node.
If this doesn't work there might be a problem with the alpha of the png, did you check it ?

Then it is the same as modoplugin. The png is fine, works ok in modoplugin. =( . Can you confirm that is working fine in the last version of mayaplugin?
