Maya Plugins wont load - 2021.1.6 - 20.23 Tweet

Hi,

just purchased a subscription for octane-studio and installed standalone and maya-plugins 2021.1.6 - 20.23 stable (maya 2020 and maya 2023).
but the plugins wont load in maya via plugin-manager and maya throws an error...

Error: file: C:/Program Files/Autodesk/Maya2023/scripts/others/pluginWin.mel line 316: Unable to dynamically load : C:/Program Files/OctaneRender VR for Maya/2023/plug-ins/OctanePlugin.mll

btw. xgen and bifrost is installed...

any hints? anybody else has this issue?

ok, seems to be an issue with bifrost, that it needs the version 2.4 for maya 2020 and 2023...
should be please mentioned in RED LETTERS!!! in the installer or in the docs...there are newer versions of bifrost already...and maya 2023.2 comes by default with v2.5.1

also the plugin feels very floppy...a lot of maya-crashes by just tweaking some basic parameters in the octane plugin...
this is not a good beginning for me as a fresh customer and my expectations are somekind in the basement right now...

Please try setting the Texture quality(ssp) and Swatch quality(ssp) to 0 in the Render Settings>Maya viewport defaults rollout!

If it still crashing then please feel free to share the Script editor errors or the Maya crash dumps here!
