Is there any documentation or tutorial on how to use scatter?
I'm struggling to get any results using maps to control density, scale, rotation etc.
What's the procedure for this please?

Also, is it possible to scatter objects along a spline - trying to make a long hedge

it looks like Octane surface doesn't work with splines but it should with hair, I can't figure out, I'm going to ask developers. In any case using a small tube should work as a workaround.
