I've been saying this for weeks ... It's getting worse and worse to use Octane in "real time" together with 3ds

i remember last year when the render was on and i could keep working, changing materials etc... now in any kind of scene, everything just gets stuck

Just to remind I have 2x 3090 128Gb of ram ... I have already left the card that is connected to the monitor off for the rendering

Hi samsue,

would you try the Nvidia Studio drivers 472.12 uninstalling the previous drivers using DDU unistaller driver tool?

Hi samsue,
I can't reproduce your issue, could you share your scene in pm (with textures too)
3dsMax > File > archive

if you are rendering you can forget that octane also updates the mtsl and maps preview

Hi samsue,
The slow max viewport should have been fixed in 12.07.
This was most visible on scenes with a large number of textures, as there was unnecessary updates.
There is still a slow UI issue from the main render settings dialog; It should be fixed in the next release.
Thanks
