Slow max viewport display octane materials Tweet

Hi,
I make a box, instance it 200 times.
I select one box, isolate selection, then de-isolate selection.
- No material : <0.5s
- Diffuse material : 2s
- Mix Material : 20s !!!!!!
"octane isolate" works fine, but in octane viewer.
In max viewport it is very very (very) problematic...

I don't know in previous max or octane versions. My specs : 3dsmax 2022.2 and Octane 2020.2.5-11.12

Hi, at the beginning it is mix material ( slow here, but it was far slower in another scene ) and after it is with no material.

aaaa!! exactly my problem too!

reinstall the latest studio drive using DDU.

"Enable Animated material in Viewport" was checked......

It was checked to test a material... and I leave it checked....
I'd be great to have such f*** options which can freeze people workflow IN RED in preference window !!!!

TWO DAYS TO FIND THE PROBLEM !!! I thought it was 2022.2 upgrade, octane version, nvidia driver, my wife, my dog,....and it was me !
