Hello
I have had a problem for some time
if I calculate the AO pass in the viewer
everything is fine, but when I save it in PNG format, the image is all damaged
same as TGA or other format with transparency, no problem in jpeg

I can't reproduce your issue, saving .png it seems ok.
Could you share your issued file please?

The saved file is paluao.png
I don't know if it comes from octane, not at all for that matter.
I can send the .max if needed
