No "Planetary Atmosphere" parameters

Hi.
I am getting a hard time to try to get a clean earth view with the Planetary Environment (Octane lights).
It seems that the Albedo texture of my earth is washed out by the bluish atmosphere, but there is no parameters to change in the "Planetary atmosphere" section of the PlanetEnv object...

Is this a "still in progress" section ? Or a bug ?

Hi cmatias,

Thanks for reporting this.
This 'Planetary atmosphere' is an empty rollup, that used to contain 'planetary axis x,y,z, and angle' in versions prior to 2018.1 (~v7.02)
Those parameters have been replaced by Latitude and Longitude..
I'll remove this rollup completely in next release.

Thanks,

Hi NeonZorglub.
I'm back on this post today, and I thought I already thanked you for the answer, but no..., sorry.
So, thank you.

I also suffer with this, everything is done for programmers, we are not programmers, we are artists, we need parameters that can be applied to any object, and the ability to animate it without reading a bunch of manuals

I don’t understand how I can animate the planet for my tasks! Well, I went out into outer space, and what next? where to press, so that my camera would fly into the planet, where to press, so that the planet would go out completely and spin quickly!
