Why can't you use texture displacement in the displacement mixer map?
Vertex displacement is hard to use. Is it just for making blobby rocks?
How would you use it to make a lumpy field/gravel drive etc? Want to mix a noise displacement with the gravel/grass displacement.
Whenever I try vertex displacement it just seems to change the plane geometry into a blob - so the square/rectangle becomes an blob shape.
Texture displacement had much more control.
