Hi, I just install 416.34. At the beginning I had some weird hang with max. But after some reboots, now it works very well. No more ui "slowdown" ( max was unusable after some renderings with octane ) when using subobjects and very smooth with octane. Hope it will continue.....

argh !
I'm very impressed by this RC7 release : very fast, octane scene percistancy is a must on big scene, denoiser become more and more efficient, some scene I render needed 20mn with 6 gpu, now it take less then 10mn on 2 gpu,....
But this driver don't solve max ui becoming more and more unusable as I render more and more with octane... perhaps octane eat gpu power used by max or by the system...
This problem and slow scene evaluation are on top list !!!

Hi guys,
I think it depends on something about 3dsMax and Nvidia drivers, This issue is using 3dsMax 2018, 3dsMax 2019, but not (e.g.) with 3dsMax 2015.
I have this issue usign Nvidia Maxwell and win7 but not using Pascal and win10.
I'm waiting to deliver a new SSD to me to install Win10 and use it with Nvidia Maxwell tu better undestand this issue.

I also have this UI lags in 3ds max 2018. Thought it was the material editor but it is the whole 3ds max UI which is lagging.
