I loose so much time not knowing if i'm doing something wrong or if i face another bug from octa,e, please is there a knwon list bug ?

I think a lot of bug are related to nvidia drivers like CUDA errors. I agree especially for animations after 4-5 hours of rendering there is a bug or driver failure where you have to restart. I think otoy needs to render a lot of complex animation with liquids, vegetation, smoke, displacement for days and they will find lots of bugs.

Hi Guys,
many last CUDA issue doesn't depend on Octane, so much so other GPU render engine suffers the same issue.
As it is understood it depends on Windows 10 updating and CUDA, We hope microsoft will fix asap.

Hi Paride,
here is an example (the same sence I sent you today as PM about phoenix bubbles being stationary). Please forward this post to otoy developers.

I have windows 1803 version not 1709. Tried different nvidia drivers. One of the slave gives me the following error illegal memory access, corrupt jpeg. All other slaves work fine so it is not windows. That slave has asus motherboard ASUS ROG RAMPAGE VI EXTREME, latest BIOS and total of 7 GPUs 3 on the motherboard plus netstor turbobox. After 8-10 frames of rendering I get these error messages and PC must be shut down first because if restart it the error will come back after frame one. How can I fix it. it is very annoying and I have no clue what causing it and other slaves work fine.

UPDATE
after installing latest drivers 398.11 still getting crash after 10 frames or so. Then PC must be shut down not rebooted and then same thing happens. When error happens and I tried to close octane window it does not close right away and i get more errors including Huffman code related to JPEG. . Just on this slave. Not sure what is Huffman code and how can I fix this slave. All slaves have same windows. This one has 7 gpus (includes netstor box) , the 2nd slave has 3 and the 3rd 5 (includes netstor box)

UPDATE 2:

In the scene I have one giant grid used to generate submarine bubbles, Also two small grids are inside of the the giant grid for the bubbles that are coming out of the ground. Deleting two small grids fixed the problem with the crashing slave. I think there is a bug with overlapping grids

UPDATE 3:

The slave still get illegal memory access errors

I can only thank you for all your efforts paride and everything you do on this forum, but personnaly i need a strong and robust renderer, i don't need tricks that made me loose hours to get trough octane bugs.
We still don't have simple things like " vray multimatte elements" or working motion blur or .......
At every new versions there's more bugs and still old bugs that will never be fixed (i'm pretty sure of that).

What is the point of working on a new version when old one is still so bugged ...

Marketing will kill octane from my point of view.
