Hi

Im trying to import an octane material into 3dsmax, it's been saved from maya localdb now I've copied it into the 3dsmax martial library but I can't see it when I open localdb in the render settings layout even though its the same path - any idea how you can import an octane material?

Hi spillstudios,
Octane 3dsMax LocalDB path usually should be:
3dsMax C:\Users\(yourname)\Documents\3dsMax\materiallibraries
From Octane rendering 3dsMax plugin 4.41 you can modify the LocalDB path.
To use the material, you have to restart Octane Render 3dsMax, from 4.41 there is a "LiveDB refresh" button.
