Hi Goldisart,
if you need only a slave daemon for render, you have to purchase a single OctaneRender Standalone License.
If you need also to use 3dsMax or backburner then OctaneRender for 3ds max + Standalone Combo License

a little misunderstood - I want to use a network render via Backburner - that is, I do not know how to use a standalone - if there is another way to use the power of the second computer via the standalon describe how

.............
use standalone - with additional plugins for 3dmax projects---- will it work in standalone ?!!?!?!?!

Hi Goldisart,
Using octane standalone daemon you can use your new Pc only for render node.
With single octane standalone license you will not be able to use octane render under 3dsmax.
If you need to use 3dsmax with Octane Render and buckbuener then you have to buy OctaneRender for 3ds max + Standalone Combo License

hinking out loud.... to have a lot of cards on 1 computer node disadvantageous because the animation of the geometry for a very long time is pumped into node ... have 10 computers with 1 graphics card would cost each node ------ this is a distinctive feature of this renderer

..........
for animating complex geometry - I'm not sure what I'm going to use this render when you need to quickly make the project

......
processing geometry ---- it is a headache .... I found just the only way to run 3D max 6 at a time and put a block account 0-50, 50-100, etc .... then I was able to count the project a lot faster .....

Hi Goldisart,
You can build networks and use Backburner and Octane Network Render depending on your needs. You will find the best solution.
Attached an example chart

thank you but this problem is not solved and there are many other global problems as 1. caustic 2. animated mesh 3. particle and it has not changed a lot a lot of time - your opponents other render has long been bypassed - that's what makes me change my mind and go in the direction of using other renders

....
I want to invest in a profitable render but not one that makes me and results in fatigue of the nerves
