Come and get in here, might get some feedback faster - I've been using octane max plugin from the alpha version, and one of the administrators of the group, so hopefully you'll get faster answers regarding specific max things.. also have been assembling PCs since 90s.. so you can get hardware covered as well

hehe, sorry, not looking to overshadow 3ds max group by any means - it's great to have specific groups for sure. Just leaving information in case someone would not know about that already.
