VRam I mean.
If you are using GTX 980Ti and GTX 780 together, your total Vram avaible (in Octane) is 3GB.
If you are using GTX 780 only for OS, monitor etc.. and GTX 980 in Octane, your total Vram (in Octane) is 6GB.
Certainly Ram could be a cause, but you can check it in Windows task manager by checking how much RAM is available by increasing the istance.
Having said that, using many many instances, 3dsMax Viewport suffers (lags) with GTX 780 to display your scene, regardless of Octane render, you can find it in scanline too.
I think there is an issue between Pflow and Octane, because Forest pack seems to work better with istance, does not lags or creates freezing.
