Hi Fabrice,
you have to set density in scattering node.
Here un basic sss material made with diffuse material.

It's much simpler with a diffuse mat than with a spec mat :)

I'm still playing with density but it has allmost no effects.
From 1 to 150 I barely see no changes...
The light should be massively changing to the corner because of the thickness varying...

PS : And another topic, how to make slight reflection on that ?

Hi Fabrice,
You should not miss light and transmission.
About the reflection, you may use a material mix, if it can be enough, otherwise you have to use a specular material.
