motion blur in POST

Can someone explain how to take my "motion vector" output and use it in AE ?
I am trying to add motion blur to an animation but have control of it in POST, without rendering it into the main pass. Is it correct to add the "motion vector" pass ?

Hi,

you should use a compositing Software and a Plugin like RSMB which reads Vector Files for Motion Blur.

Yes it's correct but...
... Motion Vector pass is broken in Octane, vectors are wrong (has always been broken as far as I remember),
should be fixed in next Octane core release.

So I suggest to generate the Motion Vector pass from another renderer in the meantime.
