Hey. I have been using Octane 2 all this time despite purchasing 3 back in May last year
Finally had some trouble with PC and had to reinstall all. So went for 3.0

But all my scenes are opening without maps....

Any help?

Octane links your maps to the folder they were in originally. Or does octane not load any maps at all? You could export your old scenes as .orbx, re-open them with OR 3, and unpack your .orbx again, and save the scene as .ocs.

Pullakk:

There were significant changes to the core of the max plugin between versions 1.9 to 2.24 and beyond. This means that by default octane 3 cannot read the materials from these old files.

There is a tool for conversion.
Look under the tools tab in the render window - there are checkboxes there.

Backup / copy original files to test - you will have to go through and open each xref and save as "_v3" or something etc, to convert the required old files.

This conversion tool mostly works.

Cheers,
N.
