does anyone know this issue:
It's quiet simple.. if i create a plane and extrude for example some of the polygons and then put a displacement on the whole object it won't affect the extruded parts..
You can see that in the attachment on the pillars... they are blank without any displacement.. the normals are correct. Any idea?

It's not so easy to understand with few info, but I suppose you should take a look about unwrapping UV mapping.
