Modo 16 + Octane Tweet

Hi - I'm seeing lots of cool tutorials for using Octane with Modo.....but I can't figure out how to get started. Is it a separate application? Is it a plugin? Is the demo free for Modo? Does it even work with the most recent version of Modo?
