Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this but I am unable to post in the general discussion forum for some reason. Am just getting into Octane and Cinema 4D and am having trouble following some tutorials due to crashes that occur.

Here are my machine specs:

NVIDIA GTX 2060
Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10700F CPU @ 2.90GHz 2.90 GHz
Installed RAM 64.0 GB
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

Edition Windows 10 Home
Version 21H2
Installed on ‎11/‎14/‎2020
OS build 19044.2006
Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.4180.0

Are you on C4D 2023? It's having issues with latest build. Don't use it in 2023, use with R26 or older.

Get this error that causes Cinema 4D to crash whenever I try and click a drop down. (crashed as soon as I pressed where my cursor is).

This problem is still going on. C4D Continues to crash whenever anything Octane related is introduced to the program. I can't even open my old files that have Octane settings saved.

please make sure to upgrade C4D to 2023.1.3, you can find the installer in your MyMaxon/Downloads page.

Are octane crashes a common thing? Or is it just me?
