macOS blender - gray render error

Hello all,

First: I tried google it, read this forum, read reddit, but everything I tried doesnt work for me.
My render is gray, lot of issue around internet but I really dont know what to do with that.

iMac
macOS - Monterey 12.5
Radeon Pro 575X 4 GB

I downloaded
Download Blender Octane X edition:
[ macOS (Metal Monterey 12.0) ]

Download OctaneServer X Prime:
[ macOS (Metal Monterey 12.0) ]

Run server (its only small icon in menubar) - run Blender Octane X - addon octane - switch render settings from Eevee to Octane. I done it many times, tried many tutorials for settings, changing kernels etc.
My render is still gray. Tried also classic render F12 but no image was there. In log there are some issues, but I really dont know what they are.

Error: Waiting for image

I starting with default blender file, I download file that someone on forum post it and working him but not for me.
If someone could help me i will pay with gold. I will do whatever, buy full version, buy subscription :) I really want to learn octane. Spend months with blender and now I feel its time to learn octane rendering.

Hi,

Unfortunately AMD Radeon Pro 575x is a Polaris GPU, but AMD Polaris and Intel GPUs are not supported anymore in new OctaneX PR12/13/14 for macOS 12 Monterey - there were some Apple Metal driver related issues.

You should need to go back to Big Sur 11.6, with OctaneX PR11.

Is it possible for you to downgrade or install Mac Os 11.6 on another partition, or an external sdd/hdd?

In this way you could continue to work with PR11 under Big Sur.

Hello,

I have still problem, I buy new MacBook and I still have problem with no rendering.
There are some screenshots, I am bit sad because it cost me around 5k USD :)) and still not working and I really don't know what to do.

Macbook 16" 2021 32gb Ram, M1 Max, Mac OS Venture 13.0

Hi,
you need OctaneX for Blender 2022.1-RC1 for Ventura macOS 13, but it is not ready yet, the latest version is based on 2022.1-XB4 SDK for Monterey..
Please keep an eye on this section of the OTOY forum, it shouldn't be too far away:

Hello some news @bepeg4d ? :) I checked the threat its 2 months and I think there isnt version for Venture M1 chips right?
