Hello new friends

My Ryzen 9 is finally here but I had to buy a used 2080 super until my 3080 or 3090 arrives which is currently on week 7 after first order. I bought this PC specifically for Octane as im a strict Mac user normally.

Im running Cinema 4D S22 and I downloaded the Fully Integrated Plugin, deleting all other versions but the S22.exe but it doesn't work. Anyone know why.

Question: If the Octane FIP doesn't work for C4D S22, what version will it work for? im happy to go back or forward a version or so?

Im very eager to buy a 1Yr Octane Studio (2 GPU) subscription but I won't pay until I can get Octane working with Cinema 4D on Windows10. Any help would be greatly appreciated, I thought 3d on PC's was plain sailing but ive paid £5k for this fast PC and now I'm feeling its a boat anchor LOL

Hi,
S22 is fully supported from several versions now.

Firstly you need to upgrade C4D to R22.118 or greater, or plugin cannot be correctly loaded, please go to c4d menu Help/Check for updates.

Then please open c4d, then go to c4d menu Extensions/Console, (Shift+F10), and share a complete screenshot of the panel, thanks.
Please, also share a screenshot like this one, that shows both the c4doctane directory opened, and the entire installation path, thanks:

I just upgraded to the monthly Cinema 4D subscription for R23. I went to the Otoy site and downloaded the Cinema 4D plugin version 2020.1.5-R4. Copied the c4doctane folder to the Cinema 4D plugins folder and removed all the versions except the one for R23. When I load up Cinema 4D I see the Octane plugin in the menu but as soon as I try to open the Octane Live Viewer, Dialog or Settings it crashes.
