IMG has announced the C-Series GPU with RT. Are there any plans to support it?

"Beyond confirming that the new C-Series will have ray tracing capabilities, Imagination further confirms that this will be an implementation using the company’s fullest of capabilities, including BVH processing and Coherency Sorting in hardware, a capability the company denotes as a “Level 4” ray tracing implementation, which would be more advanced than what current generation Nvidia and AMD GPUs are able to achieve at a “Level 3”."

With the IMG Raytracing IP it could be possible to build a Terra ray workstation with a setup like this. As a basis to estimate the RT performance we can use the GR6500 from 2016 with ray coherency gathering that achieves 0.3 Grays/s on 28 nm.
To scale it to 1 Gray/s, we need to increase the clock speed from 0.6 Ghz to 2.0 Ghz. Of course, we would need a better node for this. So on 7 nm we could get ~4.7 Grays/s, if we keep the same chip size of ~25 mm². If we scale the chip to 665 mm² or more we are at 125 Grays/s. 8 of those in 4 dual GPU cards would get us to 1 Trays/s. That is enough to achieve 502 rays per pixel with 8K@60fps.
