So by this "Use of the software is available only while online, connected via the internet to the OctaneRender licensing server" you guys mean I will have to be online during all the render time?

Hi,
Studio subscription licenses have to be always online, while Enterprise users can purchase the Offline USB Dongle option from shop page, choosing the option in the top menu:

Please note that OctaneRender® Offline USB Dongle have the following limitations compared with a full (purchased) license:

- No access to ORC from within OctaneRender.
- No access to the LiveDB from within OctaneRender.
- Dongles need to be updated using the Dongle Installer Utility every 4 months.
- Once a license has been installed to the dongle, it cannot be converted back into a normal license.
- Cost includes standard shipping
